MTN Nigeria, a couple of months back, launched a service which tend to allow customers borrow airtime on the network. imageThe service is known as MTN XtraTime.
Of course, there is a service charge based on the amount borrowed and in my opinion, it seemed as good business for the telecommunication company. However, am not sure if the feeling is mutual with the customer.
The telecommunication company has added another service known as MTN Xtrabyte. Basically, this service allows you borrow data from the company.
Depending on how often the SIM is used for subscription, data plans available for customers to borrow actually varies.

You can borrow;
200MB for N330
100MB for N220
30MB for N110
10MB for N55
Is this a good deal? Compared to what the telecommunication company is offering as monthly plans? Certainly No. Nevertheless, these plans are just handy data plans if you are almost out of airtime and currently do not have cash to subscribe.
If you still feel like subscribing, here’s how to.

How to borrow data from MTN Using Xtrabyte service
Dial *606# or *606*3# and follow the onscreen instructions.
